Sold or offered for sale in California

means any sale of or offer to sell an appliance for end use in the state, regardless of the seller's physical location, and includes, without limitation, internet, telephone, and mail order transactions. For purposes of this Article, the Uniform Commercial Code -- Sales (Division 2 (commencing with Section 2101) of the Commercial Code) does not define “sold or offered for sale” or determine where sales or offers for sale occur.
